Are you interested to make an impact? We are recruiting volunteers for The First International Conference on Computer Science and Its Application in Agriculture (ICOSICA 2020). ICOSICA 2020 is designed to be a flagship conference in South East Asia on computer science and its application in agriculture. In the long run, we aim to establish a community and action which empowers the agriculture field using computer science and engineering technologies.
We cordially invite all computer science doctoral, master, and undergraduate students and alumni at IPB University to take part on the first voyage of the conference. We are looking for passionate and brave students that willing to take the extra one step to improve themselves along with the conference. You will be working under the supervision of at least one conference chair.
The conference itself will be held on September 17th, 2019 in IPB University, Dramaga Campus, Bogor, Indonesia.
The details of open position and responsibilities are presented below. If you are interested, we are looking forward to your expression of interest before December 13th, 2019.
Roles and Responsibility. The following roles are open to apply for:
– Secretariat: maintain conference paperwork and data.
– Finance and Sponsorship: manage the accounting and follow-up sponsors opportunities.
– Program: plan, maintain, and coordinate the non-paper related event.
– Technical Program: plan, maintain, and coordinate the paper submission, review, and presentation.
– Publication: publishing the conference proceedings.
– Publicity and Public Relations: spread the conference information, maintain the website and social media, and serve as a conference point of contact.
– Local Committee: prepare the venue and all onsite conference needs.

Criteria. The general criteria are as follow:
– Active students or alumni of computer science program, IPB University.
– Willing to communicate in English.
– Willing to working remotely using Trello and messaging services.
