Call for Paper ICOSICA 2020: Computer Science for Smart and Sustainable Agriculture and Maritime

Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, IPB University, cordially invite students and researchers in the field of computer science to submit and present their latest research in the International Conference on Computer Science and Its Application in Agriculture (ICOSICA 2020). In the spirit of collaboration to fulfil the sustainable development goals, this year’s conference will bring the theme of smart and sustainable agriculture and maritime. All accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore.

Important Dates

  • Paper submission deadline (Round 1): June 7th, 2020
  • Paper submission deadline (Round 2): July 7th, 2020
  • Paper submission deadline (Final Round): July 16th, 2020
  • Notification of paper acceptance: August 10th, 2020
  • Submission of camera-ready paper: August 17th, 2020
  • Virtual conference: September, 17th, 2020

Track 1: Software Engineering and Information Science

Guidelines for Paper Submission

Paper Format

  • To ensure proper formatting of your paper, please use the style files for A4 paper size format available at IEEE Paper Templates in Ms.Word & Latex (ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html)
  • Please use a two-column conference-style paper format, between 4 to 6 pages. Extra pages up to 8 pages are allowed with an additional charge.
  • The paper for review must be submitted in a DOUBLE-BLIND manner. Please omit author name from the drafts.
  • IMPORTANT: We recommend authors to convert the PDF using PDF Xpress to avoid trouble when submitting through EDAS.

Paper Submission

  • Create your manuscript.
  • Proofread your source document thoroughly to confirm that it will require no revision.
  • Submit NEW submissions at edas.info/N27316. You can submit a REVISION or UPDATE to an EXISTING submission at edas.info/27316
  • A computer-generated E-mail is immediately sent to the submitting author to provide feedback on successful submission.
  • Papers that are not presented at the conference (no-show papers) will be excluded from distribution on IEEE Xplore.

Creating your PDF eXpress Account

  • Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress TM site (https://www.pdf-express.org/)
  • First-time users should do the following:
    • Select “New Users – Click Here” link
    • Enter the following:
      a. 49951X for the Conference ID
      b. Your email address
      c. A password
    • Continue to enter information as prompted.
  • An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.

No-Show Policy

The IEEE has implemented policies to exclude authors who do not present their paper from further distribution of their publication, such as exclusion from IEEE Xplore. Such papers will be archived at IEEE but will not be indexed or appear in IEEE Xplore.
